Offerings Making + Coconut Oil Making

This experience invites you to discover two practices deeply rooted in everyday life in Bali, shared within a local family home.
It begins with a moment around traditional offerings, known as Canang Sari.
Guided by a local woman, you will learn how to create them using fresh flowers, palm leaves and natural elements, while understanding their meaning and role in daily rituals.
The experience then continues with the traditional process of making coconut oil, a knowledge passed down through generations.
Starting from fresh coconuts, you will follow each step: preparation, extraction of coconut milk, and slow cooking until the oil naturally separates.
Along the way, you will learn about the importance of the coconut tree in Balinese culture — often called the “tree of life” — as every part of it is used in daily life.
More than just an activity, this is a shared moment with a local family, offering a simple and authentic glimpse into village life in the north of Bali.
At the end of the experience, you will enjoy a homemade lunch together, prepared and shared on site.
