Munduk Waterfall Trekking

Set off on a four-hour adventure through the lush landscapes of Munduk.
β
The trek begins with beautiful views over coffee, cacao and clove plantations, where you can fully appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of the highlands before discovering four of the region’s most beautiful waterfalls.
β
Your first stop is Golden Valley Waterfall, reached after around 20 minutes of walking. The path crosses local plantations and a charming traditional bamboo bridge before arriving at the waterfall. Along the way, you can stop for a coffee or tea with a view of the valley. Swimming is possible here.
The journey then continues towards Red Coral Waterfall, about 30 minutes further on foot. It is the second largest waterfall in Munduk. Because of the strong current, swimming is not possible, but the view is impressive.
β
Next, after approximately 40 minutes of walking, you will reach Labuhan Kebo Waterfall, where swimming is possible. Be prepared for some stairs along the way.
β
The final stop is Melanting Waterfall, the largest waterfall in Munduk, reached after around 25 minutes of walking. The path includes many steps, but the waterfall makes the effort worthwhile.
β
The trek ends with a walk through an authentic village and surrounding plantations. You will then arrive in the center of Munduk, where you can stop for lunch if you wish, and where your pickup can take place.
Please note that during periods of heavy rain, the trail and river crossings can become
more challenging. The waterfall’s flow also varies depending on the season.
β
β
The duration may vary slightly depending on the walking pace and time spent enjoying
each stop along the way.
